what do you mean, the arrival of the antichrist?
May 11th, 2007 at 20:09
I knew it, you are converting to a pentacostal church, aren’t you?

You’re starting to sound like LaHaye and Hagee!

I sure hope you are right.

You couldn’t have been talking about Jerry Falwell’s death, could you?
May 15th, 2007 at 17:04
Hey all,
I hadn’t heard that Jerry Falwell had died…. first I heard of it!
The anti-Christ is not coming, but some conservative members may make that claim soon!
And no…I’m not turning pentecostal or pre-millennial!
But…change is coming soon….

could you be a little more cryptic please? you’re giving the devil’s secret away! he don’t want the true Christians to know of the kind of change he is instigated right now!

So seriously, what’s the change? Let’s try multiple guess:
1) Your congregation is about to start preaching baptism as a pure symbol.
2) Your congregation is about to stop teaching the deity of Christ.
3) Your congregation ordain women pastors or preachers or whatever you currently call your ministers.
4) Your congregation is about to cave to the pink hand on the homosexual marriage issue.
5) Your congregation is about to go preterist in its eschatological view and as a result discontinue the Lord’s Supper.
6) Your congregation is about to start doing the communion as a ‘to go’ meal rather than in the assembly. ‘Pick up a wafer and a box of minute maid on your way out folks.’
7) Your congregation is about to sign some sort of concord document with the Roman Catholic Church much like the Lutherans and Methodists did (or at the very least you’re about to start swapping pulpits with the Methodists).
8) Your congregation is about to take Christ out of your name.
