That's a great way to put it.  One thing I've learned in 29 years in Christ is that being a Christian involves a lot of eating ;-&amp;#62;  Lots of really important things seem to get done over food!

Mike Cope recently wrote an article in the Christian Standard stating that renewing fellowship between churches of Christ and independent Christian Churches would start around the dinner table....its probably going to be the same for our more conservativbe brothers and sisters.

After one relationship is established, one person brings another along and soon more people will embrace one another.  When a handful of people in a church are willing to embrace a handful of people in another church on an individual basis, maybe some small group activities could be productive.  Just an idea...
